I can't believe you won't be home for Christmas. I know. I know! You have your reasons and I understand that, considering where you are. It'll be weird.

Grandma and Grandpa are coming by, so I won't be as lonely as I have been. It's been hard since this used to be our holiday, but I'm making the best of it.

I have a care package being sent to you soon. It's not much since you're limited to what you can get, but it's better than nothing. Just a little something to greet you for Christmas and know that someone is thinking of you.
